About Cascade Bass Masters

Cascade Bassmasters was formed in 2002 by a few friends who enjoyed bass fishing. It all got started sitting around my living room discussing bass fishing and tournaments. We decided to start a new club, the hardest thing was coming up with a name. We decided on the name of Cascade Bassmasters due to the beautiful mountain range we all have the privilege of living near in Oregon. We decided from the onset that we would try to teach and learn from each other the art of bass fishing.

Members can fish alone or with another individual. Each contestant pays the entry fee. The individual or teams may weigh the best 5 fish. Prospective members may fish as a guest prior to joining. Each member earns points for each tournament towards the Angler of the Year. The winning angler/team receives 100 points for 1st place, 95 points for 2nd place, 90 points for 3rd, etc.

Club Annual Dues: $40.00

Tournament Fee: $25.00

Big Fish Option Fee: $5.00

At the end of each year we have an Awards Ceremony, where plaques for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are presented.
